Gravatom has appointed Margaret McKean to manage Business Development in Cumbria and the North of England. Margaret has more than 20 years’ experience in the nuclear industry, including design and research and development posts. In her new role, she will forge new business relationships and raise Gravatom’s profile in the region. She said: “Many people think of Gravatom as a specialist in glove boxes or shielding and they are not aware of our full capabilities. I aim to raise awareness of Gravatom as an international engineering company supplying a wide range of cutting edge, turnkey design and build solutions.” Margaret joined Gravatom in 2006 as a designer before moving into Business Development. Commenting on Gravatom’s approach to business, she said: “Gravatom is a special company in terms of its ethos and the attitude of staff, from managers to designers and technicians. The management is very open and honest about Gravatom’s strategy for growth and everyone is committed to meeting the Company’s performance targets.”
